Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan visited Kankipadu mandal in Krishna district to oversee development projects funded by the Panchayat Raj Department. While personally inspecting the progress of these initiatives, an unfortunate incident occurred that marred the visit.

A young girl, eager to see Pawan Kalyan in person, fainted amidst the dense crowd at Godavarru village. The overwhelming rush led to difficulty in breathing, causing her to lose consciousness. Her father acted swiftly, transporting her to the nearest hospital on his bike despite the challenging circumstances.
Inspection of Road Construction in Gudavarru
During his tour, Pawan Kalyan also visited Gudavarru village in Kankipadu mandal to examine the ongoing road construction. Accompanied by engineers from the R&B Department, he conducted a thorough inspection by digging a small pit to assess the thickness and quality of the road.
Expressing concern about adherence to standards, Pawan Kalyan questioned whether contractors were meeting the required benchmarks. He urged officials to maintain strict quality control in all development works. The safe drinking water system in the area was also inspected as part of his agenda.
Pawan Kalyan’s Commitment to Tribal Development in Manyam District
Before visiting Krishna district, Pawan Kalyan toured Vizianagaram and Parvathipuram Manyam districts. At Bagujola, he laid the foundation stone for a 48-km road construction project, backed by a budget of ₹49 crores.
Reflecting on his earlier visit to Manyam in 2018, Pawan Kalyan highlighted the lack of basic road infrastructure in tribal villages. He pledged to address these issues by committing to a three-day visit to these areas every two months to resolve public grievances.
